Education is the best source to enlighten the society. HOTWT has spent 90% of their funds in educating the future citizens. The ongoing projects of HOTWT like Vidhya Vahini, Kanini Patarai, and Aangila Vizhudhugal are successfully helping and encouraging poor village children to study and learn enthusiastically. These schemes of HOTWT giving hope to the students that they can study as they wish by not focusing and worrying about their financial status.

Vidhya Vahini:

This project started in 2015. This Scheme benefits students who have passed 10th ( School Fee, uniform, study material ) to continue their education in Class 11 or a diploma course in nearby towns. The students are selected based on criteria like family background, the interest of the student in education, etc… Every year three students are selected under this scheme. Currently, 10 students are getting this benefit.

Benefitted students in 2015:

The Student Anand selected “Diploma in Civil  Engineer” in Rajagopal Polytechnic and availing the benefits from Vidhya Vahani Project.

The Student Arun Kumar doing his 9th Standard and availing the benefits from Vidhya Vahani Project.

The Student Sandhya selected “Plus one” in Girls High School and availing the benefits from Vidhya Vahani Project.

Kanini Patarai (Computer Workshop):

This project has been initiated from Jan 2016 in Govt. High School, Pallalakuppam. Basic Computer Application will be educated for all 180 students. Special course trainer has been appointed for the best results. Based on our request, SNEHAM a charity wing of Infosys Limited has sponsored 6 computers to this school.

Aangila Vizhudhugal (Roots of English):

This project is to bring English medium in Government Schools by implementing the smart classes, environmental changes /appointing a special English coaching teacher. This project has been initiated and successfully running in P.U.P primary School, Pallalakuppam.

• The primary school has been painted with various pictures like jungle, planets, alphabetic, matrix, honorable leader diagrams, etc…
• We have sponsored color T-shirts, Tie, Belts, English coaching study material, sports material, etc to the school.
• Annual programs like dance, drama and specializing them in their own ambition. Last year the students were taken for a picnic.
• We set up a classroom with smart facilities and teaching aids.

Note: When we started this project the strength of the school was 45 and now it has increased to 85 students.
